WAVE studio Children's ballet class rules

All except for the exceptions

  Attendance

  • Children's ballet has equips the same basic regardless of the teacher. Your progress is determined by "continue" and "do not continue" rather than the type of class. Please understand that if you have a lot of good night, your progress will be delayed.

  • As for ballet classes, we recommend that you attend regularly every week as a solid lesson, so please make a reservation for attendance at once on the schedule site.
For bulk reservations , select the weekly schedule with'New attendance'-'Repeat'.

  • Once you start practicing the recital (about half a year before the recital), the class is fixed.

  • Please make a reservation by the evening of the previous day as much as possible. The teacher prepares the content by the members.

  • No reservations will be made in the morning and zero classes will be cancelled.

  • The minimum number of people to perform differs depending on the teacher.

  • Classes will be canceled if the minimum number of students for each teacher is not reached.

  • Class breaks and cancellations will be notified only to those who have made a reservation by the day before.

  • Classes with a small number of students may finish teaching early. Classes may end early.

Absence

  • For good night, please let us know by email (miyuki: wavestudiotorrance@gmail.com ), line or Groupme.

  • If you do not cancel on the schedule site more than 4 hours in advance, there will be no refund of the class fee.
This is to avoid sudden cancellation.
    Because. ..
Classes and whether teachers can come to the studio depend on the number of attendees, so this is to avoid inconvenience to other students and teachers.

For those who cannot come within 4 hours, the teacher will pay for the number of people.
The teacher can think about the content of each class in advance. This is because the content may change depending on the members of the attending students.

Age / level

Ballet 1 2 and a half years old and over

Ballet 2 4 years old (preschool / TK / kinder) and above

Ballet 36 years old (First grade) and above

(The teachers will consider and judge whether or not you can take pointe shoes lessons from around 10 years old, how to build your body, technical skills, and how to stretch.)

Dress code

Do not walk outside with ballet shoes.

When you enter the studio, change into ballet shoes indoors.

Some people use it because it is convenient, such as shoes that can be worn over shoes.

Ballet 1

Basically, anything that is easy to move is okay .
The following dresses are recommended to raise the mood of the students themselves ↓

  • Leotards (skirts, fluttering, and flowers are also acceptable. Please wear lesson clothes that will make you happy and enjoyable!)

  • tights

  • Ballet shoes or slippers that you can dance to

  • Combine long hair into one. Please pin short hair.

  • Ballet shoes (color & type free)

  • Combine long hair into one.

Ballet 3

  • No leotard skirt (color and design are free. Please avoid fluttering and skirting so that you can see the line of the body because the instruction on how to use the body will be stricter. If you have a leotard with a skirt If so, please take it or buy the one you don't have the next time you buy a new one and use the current one as it is.)
At the end of the month, it's okay to bring a skirt because every class is a tutu day ♪

  • Tights (color free)

  • Ballet shoes (We recommend shoes specializing in dance equipment stores, but the size will change soon, so reasonable shoes are fine.)

  • Please use dumplings for long hair. It doesn't have to be a perfect ballet bun, all together.

  • If your bangs are long, pin your eyes.

It is recommended to the last, so if you are busy with other lessons or school, it is reasonable!

  • From around the age of 10, an assessment of whether you have the muscles and skills to wear pointe shoes will begin. (It does not mean that you can wear it from the age of 10) Please note that once a week is likely to be difficult for those who are aiming to wear pointe shoes in the future.

  • We will provide guidance according to the motivation and physical growth of each student.

  • Those who want to improve further and those who want to participate in the competition should also take a private class.

  • Lessons that are too old or physically demanding may hurt your child's body in the future. Please consult with your teacher regarding the number of classes and the amount of practice.
